You will be required to provide one-to-one assistance on all aspects of international trade, such as strategy development, market research, market selection, product development, international sales and finance. This will involve working with a group of around 25 companies; carrying out group activities in support of developing their exports and regularly meeting each company individually to drive forward their performance. It is expected that the post holder will almost become part of the companies' management teams, championing the internationalisation agenda and ensuring that the accelerated action plans are kept on track. Management of the Programme budget spend for the specific companies is expected. Key Skill requirements : International Business experience within an SME context Knowledge of Renewable Energy sector International Sales and Marketing experience Strategy development ability Technical competency in international trade (trade law, finance, marketing and distribution) Strong relationship building capability Credibility at a senior level Appreciation of other cultures and in depth knowledge of at least one overseas geography/foreign language ability.
